Well I am more than halfway through reading "MOMMYWOOD" by Tori Spelling. I know you're thinking oh another book saying poor little rich girl, right? Oh no, not the case. Well she does talk about her childhood. She is focused on being a good mom to her children as well as a good step mom to her husband's son. All our poor little socialite wants is to live in the suburbs, living the dream life with her family. Her first feat was a 4th of July Block party. It did not turn out as her fantasy but it was a great day for her and her family. I will discuss more on this book later.
Other Items on my list for this month:
I have started on my 'To be read pile" But I bought more books. I have a love affair with books. I cannot help it. But I have finished 1 that was on my list and have started on another.
Working out more- Yeah that still has not happened. I know I know no excuses. I need to prioritize a bit better to fit in some work out time.
Eating Better: I have been doing pretty well on this one. It is getting easier. I have days that I splurge, but it is getting easier as I go. Educating myself on what is good, what is bad, and what is never allowed to consume again. Goodbye Peanut butter chocolate shake from Coldstone. Over 2000 calories in 1 shake.
That is all on the homefront for now.
BLURBS from my crazy life. Tales of being a Mommy, Wife, and somewhere in there me.

This Month's Projects--Learning for February
Well today I finally decided on what my project for February will be. For any new readers I have decided to learn something new each month this year. I am also pushing myself to accomplish more every month. Now there are some things that will continue through out the year. Like for example: eating better. I have made it a personal goal to eat better and exercise more.
This month my goals are:
1. Start on my "TO BE READ" Book list. It is piling up. Lots leftover from last year.
2. Work out more, took a break due to work, and fighting a cold.
3. Keep plugging away at my eating better habit, while maintaining a healthy weight for me.
4. I am going to learn about other people's lives. I have been feeling down lately and a friend suggested that I read someone's biography and learn about their life.
Those are my goals for this month. Start small and work my way up to big. Now I might throw something new into the mix along the way. You will have to stay tuned to find out. I am excited about #4, while doing that I will also be getting a start on #1. I am going to read about Kristen Chenoweth's life. She has an amazing voice.
I will also be reading Mommy wood by Tori Spelling. I will post blurbs from my books as I read them. Feel free to read along with me.

Slacking Already
Just a few weeks into my new venture and I am slacking. I have not worked out in over a week. I have been so busy with the house, work, and fighting a cold. I am getting better at managing my crazy life. It's just hard. I come home from work exhausted. But there is dinner, and all sorts of chores waiting on me that need my attention. Then I have to crate the puppy and get her to sleep before I can even think of crawling into bed. (Yes it's like having a child.) So then I look at the clock and most night's it's close to 11 PM or after. By the time I am settled in and asleep it's 6 AM and my alarm is going off. No wonder I am exhausted. No wonder I do not go out on weekends anymore. I am too tired from getting everything done that I do not accomplish on weeknights after work. My hubby is great, he does help with the cleaning and dinner sometimes. Not as much and to the level I would like. But I am grateful for the contribution he does make. I know that some men never lift a finger.
Well I am motiviating myself to get my project for February. I have already lost 2 days of the month. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Any suggestions? Not that anyone is reading this. LOL!!!!!!
