Maryland Life

I did it. I drove 10 hours last Sunday from Augusta, GA to Bowie, MD. It took longer due to the Pregnancy stops. Stopping to pee, Stopping to stretch. But I finally made it to my new home. Our belongings arrived on Tuesday. Monday was football in Baltimore. USNA vs University of Maryland. I have to say I think their fans need to learn some respect. Yelling Navy you suck to young men who will be putting their lives on the line for others ability to live in freedom is beyond disgusting. The drive up was long, it got scenic once I hit Northern VA.

I have ventured out alone once. I went all the way to Greenbelt, MD for curtains. I even got on the beltway. I had mapquest directions to my destination, but failed to get the return directions. I took a couple of wrong turns but made it home in 30 minutes. Guess I have to learn sometime.

We are still in our unpacking phase. I think this will last awhile. It had better end soon. As of tomorrow I have 10 weeks until my due date. We are unpacking all of the boxes in the house first, then branching out to the mountain in the garage we rented. Our living room is mostly set up and functional. Our bedroom is set up and mostly functional, same goes for the master bath. The nursery is currently a storage space for boxes. We are getting there, LOL!!!!!! No I am not posting pics, I am embarassed by the clutter. Me being a neat freak and all. I am currently waiting on someone to come by and figure out why I have no hot water at all in my apt. Welcome to Apt living!!!!

I will post more as it comes
